Rabbi Eric Morgenstern
Rabbi Eric Morgenstern
 is a Jewish Universalist rabbi.  He is the founder and Rabbi of Kehillah Chen v’Chesed, a Jewish Universalist Synagogue that offers Enrichment Programs, Pastoral Care, Life Cycle Services, Shabbat and Festival services to a community of unaffiliated families.

Rabbi Morgenstern has been a Jewish Educator for 25 years specializing in both the Conservative and Reform platforms.  He has focused on experiential Judaism in such areas as Social Action, Family and Community Education.  Rabbi Morgenstern is a leader who emphasizes the importance of people and maintains the view that the central task of a Rabbi is to develop a good fit between the congregation and the synagogue.  He is a member of the International Federation of Rabbis.

Rabbi Morgenstern is committed to empowering others and relies on personal charisma to get people excited and committed to the mission of the synagogue.  I look forward to personally meeting each of you!

Cindy Paley
Cindy Paley 
has delighted Jewish communities with her timeless albums and dynamic performances. An LA native, she is known for her contagious enthusiasm and passion for both traditional and contemporary Jewish music. As the music educator and song leader at Valley Beth Shalom for 36 years, Cindy brought Jewish music to countless children and families. For the past 20 years she has been the cantorial soloist for Lev Eisha and Valley Beth Shalom’s N’shama Minyan, two women’s services in Los Angeles. Additionally, Cindy performs Yiddish music throughout California and Poland and teaches annual workshops at the Krakow Jewish Culture Festival. This past year Cindy taught four different Yiddish music courses at the Skirball Cultural Center and also presented numerous Hebrew and Yiddish song workshops and concerts via zoom. Although she is best known for Jewish music, Cindy also performs American folk songs of the 1960s with a trio called The Folk Experience.
